First Aid and Menstrual Hygiene Management Training

The CFS project conducted a 2-day First Aid and 1-day Menstrual Hygiene Management Training for School Teachers respectively on 10-11 September and on 12 September. The main objective of the first aid training was to protect school children from possible harm, accidents and common diseases. Likewise, the aim of the menstrual hygiene management training was to promote needs-based sanitary facilities and proper environment especially for the adolescent girls in the schools so that they do not have to be absent in schools during their monthly periods. Altogether 24 teachers from 24 selected schools participated in the First Aid Training while 20 teachers from 10 schools participated in the Menstrual Hygiene Management Training.
