Right4Children (R4C) successfully concluded the PRAYASS Project with a two-day Review, Reflection, Evaluation Dissemination and Farewell Program held on 29–30 December 2025. The event brought together PRAYASS project staff, administration staff, and colleagues from other projects to collectively reflect on the project journey, share learning, and honor the contributions of team members whose contracts came to an end.

The first day focused on review, reflection, and evaluation dissemination, facilitated by Dr. Amir Budathoki, Lead Evaluator of the PRAYASS Project. Using participatory tools such as the “River of Life,” participants revisited key milestones, challenges, turning points, and achievements of the project. This open and reflective process encouraged honest dialogue and strengthened shared understanding of the project’s evolution and outcomes.

During the evaluation dissemination session, preliminary findings from the PRAYASS and SUCCESS Project Evaluation Reports were presented. The findings highlighted significant achievements, including the completion of 82 rescues, exceeding the original target, and the effectiveness of the two-generation, family-centered approach. The evaluation also identified critical learning areas, particularly around livelihood sustainability, cost efficiency, and the importance of aligning income opportunities with the real economic needs of survivors. Discussions around impact and sustainability emphasized the project’s contribution to systemic change, such as the adoption of a Code of Conduct in the Adult Entertainment Sector and support for legal identity through citizenship certification.

The second day featured a self-assessment session facilitated by the MEAL Manager using the Traffic Light Method. Participants reflected on project performance, learning by doing, coordination, and planning processes. The session reinforced R4C’s commitment to adaptive learning and continuous improvement.

The program concluded with a heartfelt farewell session attended by R4C President Jayendra Gauchan. Staff reflections, traditional rituals, and the presentation of tokens of appreciation created warm and respectful closure. The two-day program not only marked the end of the PRAYASS Project but also strengthened institutional learning, accountability, and appreciation for the people behind the work.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the PRAYASS Project meaningful and impactful.
