FAB Hotel School
Following the successful implementation of the Hotel and Hospitality Training Programme for disadvantaged Nepalese youth over the last 7 years, Right4Children has established its own hospitality training and hotel management school – The FAB School.
The tourism industry continues to grow rapidly in Nepal with an increased number of tourists, hotels, and activities. To cater to the growing needs of the hospitality industry more trained human resources in the field are required.
With this in mind, the FAB School was brought into operation to provide alternative ways of learning and skill development for disadvantaged youth especially those who were pushed away from formal education. The School is being run in partnership with the Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education (GATE), a Kathmandu-based college renowned for its quality education and training in the hospitality sector (www.gate.edu.np).
The objectives of the FAB School:
- To deliver better quality training to enable the trainees to be truly competitive in the international hospitality sector.
- To provide the hospitality training opportunity to more youth.
- For better and more efficient management and operation of the hospitality training program.
- To create a model hospitality training school in Nepal to contribute to the growth and improvement of the tourism sector in the country.
