Right4Children, in collaboration with a wide network of local partners, recently led a powerful rally through the heart of Pokhara to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. Starting at Prithivichowk and concluding at Shanti Ban Batika, the event sent a strong, visible message: our community says no to drugs.
The rally brought together political leaders, police departments, training centers, mothers’ groups (Aama Samuha), school and college students, and local organizations. Marching in unity, participants carried placards and chanted messages that promoted healthy choices and a safe environment for children and youth.
More than just a public event, this rally served as a community-wide call to action. With drug abuse posing a serious threat—especially to the younger generation—awareness and prevention are more important than ever. Events like this help break stigma, foster dialogue, and strengthen local commitment to change.
At Right4Children, we believe long-term change happens when communities take the lead. By involving young people, parents, educators, and leaders, we can protect children from harmful influences and ensure they grow up in supportive, informed environments.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who walked with us, raised their voices, and helped spread the message. Your involvement shows what’s possible when we come together for a shared cause.
Let’s keep the momentum going. Together, we can create a future where every child is safe, supported, and free from the harms of drug abuse.
